A compute unit is how we measure your infrastructure footprint. A Small server uses 1 unit, Medium uses 2, Large uses 4. Each plan includes a monthly unit allowance — pick the plan that covers the servers you expect to run, and any extra usage is billed as overage.

Your servers keep running — we don't throttle or shut anything down. Overage is billed as a one-off addition to that month's invoice, at a per-unit rate that depends on the server profile (Small / Medium / Large). The Cost Estimator in your dashboard shows the live calculation for any combination of servers.

We detect your currency from your region: UK visitors are billed in GBP, eurozone countries in EUR, everyone else in USD. The currency is fixed at first checkout and stays consistent across renewals.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and Stripe prorates the difference so you only pay for the time you actually used the new plan. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal and may be blocked if your current usage exceeds the lower plan's limits.

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where supported. Payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

Yes, from the Manage Billing screen in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, then your account reverts to the Free plan. No need to explain why.

Subscription fees are non-refundable, but we'll happily refund overage charges in the case of a billing error or extended service outage. Email hello@mcplambda.io if something doesn't look right and we'll sort it out.

Our Free plan is unlimited in time — no credit card required, no auto-conversion to a paid plan. It covers 1 compute unit and 1 project, which is enough to deploy a Small MCP server and see how the platform works.
